3 Strange and Terrible Technologies That Defy Taste, Logic and Common Sense

Bad ideas are usually more common then good ones. But do they all disappear? Sadly, many of them stick around for a while, so just for fun, we have put together a list of three. The question is, who is investing in these, if anyone?

Social Media for Your Bathroom

This one is really absurd. The iPoo is an app for your iPhone that is precisely what you think it is. It is specifically for people who don’t want to disconnect from their friends while they are going to the bathroom. This is not something many people should want, and yet, still it exists. Did you ever hear of someone using a social network in the bathroom? This kind of networking qualifies as antisocial behavior.

Tacos Through the Air

Most of us like fast food tacos, but what if you are at home and want those tacos delivered?
That is where the TacoCopter comes in. They wish to deliver tacos throughout California’s Silicon Valley using helicopter drones. This service is not up and running yet and we’ll see if it ever gets off the ground, pun intended.

A Stranger Is Only a Friend You Haven’t Met?

Are you seeking more friends on Facebook? If so, you can use a new service called Airtime. It mines your Facebook profile and collects strangers that share similar interests to you. Then you’re able to click “next” if you do not like the stranger that they send you. This service may be a little creepy, though; such is the arena of online stranger.
