It’s difficult to operate a prosperous small business today. The competition is fierce. And consumers are still hesitant to spend too many of their money. Your small business, then, needs just about every advantage it can get. Thankfully, there are numerous apps designed to assist you to grow and maintain your small business. And the Orlando Business Journal recently ran a feature story presenting several of the most powerful apps for your small business.
A mobile cash register
The Square Register app is a particularly useful one for small business owners who operate mobile kiosks or food trucks, according to the Orlando Business Journal. Once you download this free app, you can accept debit-card and credit-card transactions through a small square device that hooks up to your smartphone or tablet. Even though the app is free, you will have to pay a fee every time you use Square Register.
The end of business cards?
The CamCard app helps business people scan business cards right into their smartphones. The app then automatically places the business card into these owners’ phone contacts. It’s an amazing way to eliminate the clutter of drawers stuffed with business cards. This app isn’t free, but it is only $2.99.
The Asana Mobile app is another one that no small business owner should do without. This app lets you post the schedule for yourself and your business. Your staffers — the ones you give permissions to, at least — can then open this schedule and see exactly what tasks need to be completed during the day. Staff members can also select which tasks are assigned to specific staffers and which ones still need to be tackled. It’s an excellent way to keep your business organized and efficient.
