CHARLOTTE, NC – November 19, 2013 – Waypoint, a global leader in Information Technology Managed Services and Solutions, has been recognized as one of the Charlotte area’s Best Places to Work by the Charlotte Business Journal. Waypoint placed 39th among Charlotte’s small businesses. The awards were bestowed to not only small businesses but medium and large organizations who participated in the rigorous selection process.
“The quality of workplace culture is key excellence in delivering services to customers. Beyond that, we want to make sure that our culture is giving our employees what they need to excel as a team and as individuals,” said Dan Wilson, Waypoint’s founder and president. “We’re proud to be recognized among this impressive list of business leaders.”
This year’s results illustrate that Charlotte’s employers showed an extraordinary workplace engagement rating – higher than any other market in the U.S. The Charlotte Business Journal’s 2013 Best Places to Work ranking were determined by aggregating the results of detailed employee surveys by Quantam Workplace, an independent human-resources survey company. Each survey question was assigned a point value, which was used in determining each company’s final score.
