Those of us who have smartphones love them, but we realize they have one major fault. Their batteries do not last long enough. It’s very frustrating because you have a smartphone for a reason. You can send emails, listen to music, and make calls, but all smartphones are limited by their battery life.
While there are several companies working to improve this issue, there are a few things that you can do with your current phone to extend its battery life.
Dimming that smartphone screen
A bright, chaotic screen display sucks the life out of batteries. By switching your screen’s brightness level to the lowest you can stand, you’ll already be doing a lot to enhance the lifespan of your smartphone’s battery.
You can save battery power, too, by changing how long your screen stays lit after receiving an input such as a screen tap. The longer your screen stays lit, the harder it is on your battery life.
Furthermore, you can turn off Bluetooth when you aren’t anticipating a call or when you aren’t driving your car. Bluetooth, since it is always listening for outside signals, is another major drain on your battery. By turning it off, you’ll drastically increase the life of your smartphone’s battery.
